1 (especially BrE) the number 0, especially as the score in some games
2 nothing: The doctors rated her chances as nil (= there were no chances).

Yeah, you right at this point of view. And hope that you have been crying for someone who made you happy (happiness tears). So sad because I have never had such a happy feeling like that

Re: Learning English with vOzers :D

"i just have a few hours to sleep"
"i have just a few hours to sleep"
Which one 's correct ? why do we use that ?
In the middle of a sentence, adverb always stands after "be" and before normal verb, doesn't it ?

1. Use "just" to express actions that have happened RECENTLY. Just goes after the auxiliary have/has and before the past participle (Present perfect - guide book). The second sentence is right (Present perfect).
Edit the first one -----> I just had a few hours to sleep (it will be right). we are not only use "just" in the present perfect Tense.
2. I don't really understand what are you mean?? If we have "be" in a sentence. why we also have a normal verb? whatever, Adverb stand after "be" and before Adjective to (ex: she is extremely happy) and It stand after verb (ex:She looks beautifully)

Thanks
1. I understand what you mean. But "just" in this context means "only". I think both of them can use in the simple present.
2. The adverbs of frequency come before the main verb (except the main verb "to be"), i don't know, is the other adverbs the same with that ? ( i guess not, because we have the rule V + Adv, like what you say ). So confused

Yes, You right. The adverbs of frequency (like usually, always, often, sometimes, occasionally, etc) usually come before the main verb . I forgot mention this case on the above answer.
