After graduation, high school students always face a question of choice, pursuing further study or having a job. While some hold an opinion that continuing higher study is a vital preparation for future career success, others argue that working straight after school is beneficial in some ways. This essay will discuss both these points of view.

On the one hand, working right after graduating is obviously imperative for young people. First of all, there is a tendency for the young to become economically independent. It is because the ability to earn a living will be persuasive evidence to prove their mature. Another benefit is that graduates might gain actual work experience and then raise career awareness. Consequently, it costs shorter time and lower price for these youthful workers to find out the most suitable jobs to do while university students have little time to consider cautiously their specialties.

On the other hand, there are a number of reasons why people are likely to continue their studies. Firstly, employees these days are in need of qualified certificates in such a demanding job market. Foreign qualifications, for instance, are often given more attention than degrees issued interiorly. This trend leads to an increase in the number of students enrolled at higher education institutions so as to able to meet potential strict requirements. Secondly, university graduates are certainly provided with up-to-date knowledge of the majors they specialize in. They, for that reason, have a great chance to become leading experts afterwards. Meanwhile, those with fewer academic qualifications probably find it hard to adopt to the rapid changes of the world.

In sum, it seems to me that the two choices are apparently reasonable for their supporters.
