I suggest that you should visit BBC or CNN Website rather than watching or listening English films or music

Then watch only films with English audio and subtitle, worked with me

that just improves ur vocabulary. Some short news is spoken quite fast and in a formal way.U would better learn how do people talk in daily situation in that eng sub film.
