The first time i saw this structure, i also got a bit confused due to the fact that we rarely use "of" right after "to be" or "adj" like that. however, this structure was written and approved by Le na - she gained 8.0 on ielts test and originally CEO of seamap.
Another sentence that makes me feel weird is "raising pet is of great benefit".
- about your question: i think that "in my case" is a trạng ngữ whereas "of my case" is a kind of structure "of + noun". it is a shame that i dont fully understand the structure and just imitate it. sry.

i know about the struture "to be+ of"

but your sentence was "to be+ noun"
so we must use a preposition suitable to the following noun

so that would be "in my case" instead "of my case"

Actually, i dont have any knowledge about that structure and just imitate my teacher's one. anyway, in order to avoid misunderstanding, i think we should translate that sentence as "the opposite is well seen in my case"
p.s: i am on my way to learn for the IELTS test that i intend to take next December. there are a lot of defects in my knowledge so that let's point them out.
