Re: Learning English with vOzers :D

In this song http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.n...256a42004e0ab8

There's a a part with a sentence:

Quote:
I've looked at love from both sides now
From give and take, and still somehow
It's love's illusions I recall
I really don't know love at all
Why "have looked" can go with the adverb "now"?

There's a a part with a sentence:

Why "have looked" can go with the adverb "now"?
It's natural and can be used to describe either:
- A change; or
- Something that has just completed
- Something that you have just achieved

examples:
- Now I have learned how to play guitar.
- He has now started reading book.
- I have done what you asked for just now.

Present perfect is indeed a present tense anyway, so there's no reason for it not to be used with "now".

+1 . I remember the time I play AoE II, reading the game's history improves my vocabulary a lot.

Whatever in English makes you interested will help improve your English skill dramatically

Re: Learning English with vOzers :D

Xin lỗi vì đã viết tiếng Việt ở đây nhưng mình không biết cách diễn đạt câu chữ bằng tiếng Anh giỏi như mọi người được.

Cho mình hỏi cách phát âm đuôi /ed/ với, mình Google thấy tùm lum hết. Mình cần là sau những từ như tận cùng là chữ cái nào thì /ed/ sẽ được phát âm là /t/, /id/ và /d/. Xin cám ơn!

It's ok. Welcome to our English club. We are here to help each other. My experience is reading a book rather than an article. It may confuse you sometimes, cause they intend to write something more difficult and exclusive cases. A book is more comprehensive
My suggestions:
Book:
Code:
A Comprehensive Grammar of the English Language
http://rapidshare.com/files/110348726/comprehensive_grammar_of_the_english_language_quirk_greenbaum_leech_svartvik.pdf
pass:englishtips.org
How to learn: Use English - English dictionary rather than E-Vi.
