Re: Learning English with vOzers :D

You should always try to write as simple as possible, don't make it unnecessarily complicated.

For example, let's compare these:

"Today was the first day going to an Ilets class of mine." and "Today is my first day in the IELTS class".

Also nobody would use "was" with "today". If you really want past tense you would have used "this evening" or "this morning" instead.

I also want to suggest a few changes to make your paragraph sound better:

"I like it when i met my/the/a new teacher and new friends who have the same target as mine. The programme is not so special but i think regularly attending class would help me to be motivated and also to maintain concentration. I hope I can study hard enough to follow the planned progress."

you don't need to use English units when using English. The unit should be appropriate to the listener/audience, not the language itself. As Vietnamese we can hardly imaging how a 3 quarters looks like...

Black, Black, Black and blue , beat me till I'm numb. I really don't understand what "Black, Black, Black and blue" means in this sentence.

"Black and blue" is kind of an idiom which means bruised seriously.

Hey guys i need your help Let's discuss about these things
1/ Describe the town or city where you live (climate, sights to see, nightlife, type of food and restaurants, shopping areas, transport, etc)
2/ Have you ever phoned a call centre? What for? Was that a good experience, or a bad one? Talk about that
3/ What characteristics and skills does a good call centre operative need?

thanks you all "D
