what's the chance do you think that he really want to say it in passive tense? This is why I say grammar only is not enough to make sure you are correctly expressing what you think.

2. "subtitle for a document film": I would say "the subtitle of a document film". Can't explain in detail but this should be the right way. Again, make sure you use the right words (the, a, an, preposition...).

3. Spliting the message into 2 sentences is wrong, and it made the 2nd sentence become a false one.

This correction should be final: "I intended to translate the subtitle of a document film yesterday, but the file was corrupted."
Okie thanks a lot

Because I saw it no wrong, so i didn't care. Anyway, I didn't say it wrong. I didn't say firmly about it and I didn't use the negative word "wrong". That's what I meant.

welcome mate. My first advice is you should try to write everything in a complete paragraph with appropriate conjunction (IELTS and TOEFL require that if I am not wrong). Well how did I started?.... watching lots of movie with subtitles perhaps, and try to analyse the way people says things.

Supposedly this is what we hear by ear, not by our eyes. Are you sure you hear it without "a" or "s"?
