For all concerns related to human height matter :

I have no idea why so many peoples are overwhelmingly self-concious about their height (and most of the time for no obvious reason). Perhaps they usually think they're kinda short in comparison with their friends or simply ppls around them, and probably due to some stereotypes towards short people that they would be looked down on by taller peoples ??.

Technically speaking, everyone have their own limit for height development, and this limit is affected by several factors (e.g gene, living conditions, nutritions,..) That means when your body reach this mentioned limit, your height will stop growing, no matter how hard you try. And if you still really want to increase your height, you better seek advice from doctors. May be you'll be given a specialised prescription and treating method...

But why don't they ever ask themselves whether their so-called 'modest' height have anything to do with their subsequent success in life or some sort of stuffs like that?

I had read through some very intriguing surveys pointed out that men whose height is over 5 ft 8 inches (about 1m72) are more likely to get a better job, higher income and acquire higher social status....Nonetheless, these conclusion seem almost meaningless to me. (And I even think it's just a marketing strategy from a lift shoe company)

In reality, there are many peoples with 'modest' height are very successful and being treated with great respect. We're not strange with Mr. Joseph Cao Quang Anh, the first Vietnamese to be elected to U.S Congress. If you want to know how tall he is, ask google Just one example only. And in entertaiment fields, in which a good appearance is considered as a huge advantage, we're already very familiar with Tom Cruise,Robert Pattinson,Zac Efron,..
