Theo e,nếu xài tổng đài IP mềm ( Asterisk) thì phải xài IP phone hoặc thiết bị chuyển đổi.cả 2 cách đều có chi phí khoảng 100$/user/extension .Kèm theo đó là chi phí cho máy tính và server đi kèm để vận hành Asterisk. phần mềm Asterisk gần như miễn phí.
Nếu xài tổng đài IP thì chỉ cần xài analog phone,chi phí khoảng 10$/user/extension.Nhưng chi phí đầu tư tổng đài IP ban đầu khá cao.
Từ bài toán trên,ta có thể thấy nếu xài dưới 20 users hoặc extension hoặc ko cần mở rộng sau về sau thì dùng Asterisk là được. Nếu xài trên 20 users hoặc extension và sau này sẽ mở rộng thêm thì nên xài tổng đài IP cứng.
Trên thị trường có tổng đài panasonic,siemens.. giá khá rẻ khi chưa có IP (220$) nhưng nếu là tổng đài IP thì khá cao ( trên 1.200 $) và NEC giá chưa có IP khá cao ( 300$) nhưng nếu có chức năng IP thì lại tương đối rẻ ( 800$ cho cấu hình IP cơ bản).

_ Dùng tổng đài đóng gói sẵn:
Ưu điểm: Cắm là chạy, config đơn giản hơn là tự xây dựng server
Nhược điểm: Khó tùy biến, dập khuôn và đi theo hãng cung cấp.
_ Có thể sử dụng song song IP Phone và Softphone.

2. Loại nào tốt và phù hợp ?
Ở đây anh chưa nói rõ, công ty anh sử dụng đường line điện thoại truyền thống, hay dùng đường quang E1/T1 mới hiện nay. Nên chưa thể tư vấn chính xác được model cụ thể
Với 100 nhân viên thì lưu lượng gọi ra và vào khoảng 15-20 cuộc đồng thời, như vậy ta sẽ sử dụng card 32 kênh hoặc gateway 32 cổng.
Nên em xin tư vấn chung như sau:

Cáp ADSL 5Mbps gọi thoải mái, nhưng anh lưu ý các vấn đề như sau:
• Chi nhánh có ở xa Main Office không, tốc độ ping từ main office tới chi nhánh là bao nhiêu (và ngược lại)
• Triển khai gọi từ xa rất dễ dàng, nhưng để ổn định trong sử dụng yêu cầu đường truyền mạng tốt
• Ở chi nhánh có xây dựng tổng đài để Trunk về tổng đài chính tại Main Office không.
