in my opinion, i don't care about /ði/ or /ðə/, it's like a reflect, naturally it'd go with the word that make less work to do with the tounge. Sometime i see that they use /ði/ with an consonant. Those are not important at all, they will understand you.

yeah, my writing and grammar is bad, i could know a word, how it's sounded but sometime i forgot how it's written. When i speak, i can hardly control these things, it's all follow the feelings

grammars in songs are not correct sometimes...
for example: listen to breakeven, the lyric has a part is: it dont breakeven....
so dont worry about that that much. According to me: before vowels, say /ði/, the rest say /ðə/. But i dont pronounce "the" as /ðə/ btw
