Ngày 12/04 vừa qua, Apple đã cung cấp bản nâng cấp Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 v1.1 trực tiếp trên website của hãng. Bản cập nhật này dành những máy đã nâng cấp trực tiếp từ 10.6 lên 10.6.3 . Riêng đối với những máy nâng cấp từ 10.6.1 hay 10.6.2 lên 10.6.3 thì không cần cài bản v1.1 này. Chính vì thế, nếu bạn chạy Software Update mà không thấy thông báo mới thì đừng quá ngạc nhiên, máy bạn không nằm trong diện cần nâng cấp. Tuy nhiên, nếu muốn bạn có thể tải trực tiếp về tại đây (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1017), dung lượng bản combo khoảng 785Mb.

Cùng thời điểm này Apple cũng cung cấp bản sửa lỗi bảo mật Security Update 2010-003 (http://www.macworld.com/article/150635/2010/04/security_2010_003.html?lsrc=rss_main), các hệ điều hành được yêu cầu nâng cấp gồm có Leopard và Snow Leopard. Bản sửa lỗi này khắc phục lỗ hổng: Mã tùy ý có thể được thự hiện khi bạn xem hoặc tải xuống một file tài liệu có nhúng font đã bị sửa đổi. Để cập nhật bạn chạy Software Update.
