A: When using Firefox, we have found that it does not always launch the File Transfer Manager download client. Below are the steps to use to address this problem:
Go to the Microsoft File Transfer Manager site and install FTM using the MSI
After you have installed the FTM, you may want to note where you installed it as you will need to point to the installed FTM application.
Navigate to the page where your desired download is located.
Select the download(s) and click the Download button.
The selected file's name will still be displayed as "default.aspx.
Select the radio button to "Open with" as shown below, and select "File Transfer Manager" from your options. You may need to browse to the installation location or to a shortcut for the application. Once File Transfer Manager is displayed, click the OK button to proceed.
