FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuring the technology is embraced by all users by developing and presenting applications in a "User Friendly" environment
• Provide recommendations to the Project coordinator for workarounds and quick-fixes to functionality issues where necessary
• Consider impact on client satisfaction when developing/updating functionalities
• Hands-on user support for TIC end users where applicable relating to design change requirements and BUG fixing
• Assist with Bug Analysis and resolution on the coding level
• Provide recommendations to the Project coordinator for design change requirements and/or Bug fixing where necessary
• Following up design change requirements and Bugs with Project coordinator to ensure is developed and implemented correctly
• Assisting Optic Team in articulating clear and detailed briefs of design change requirements and Bugs
JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Essential
Bachelor of Science
English certificate mid level (written/verbal)
Preferred
Post graduate certificates in Information Technologies
Knowledge/Know-how
Essential 2-3 yrs experience in PHP/ASP programming and Q/A Testing on large scale projects
In depth knowledge of Industry Development tools
Good experience and understanding of Systems Architecture
Excellent knowledge of System security
Preferred
4-5 yrs experience in PHP/ASP programming and Q/A Testing on large scale projects
Fluent English (written/verbal)
Skills
Essential
o PhP, Javascript, Java, MSSQL, ASP.net
o Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively
o Ability to analyze and problem solve effectively/quickly
o Ability to Develop DCR requirements effectively/quickly
o Impeccable judgement and analytical skills.
o A high level of self-motivation and high professional standards.
o A highly organised and methodical approach to work.
o Satisfactory English (mid level both written/verbal)
o Ability to provide excellent customer service
o Time management
o Decision making
